Yet another Mario title to the DS!

Is it the graphics, the music or just Mario and his friends that keeps the series continuing on and on with subplots, mini games and cartoon series? Personally, I don’t care and I absolutely love Nintendo’s Mario games. Makes me feel like a kid again…back to the days where we used to argue in primary school wether Mario was better than Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog (who would have known that Sonic would eventually land his own title on the Nintendo *shock**horror**gasp*).
Anyways, the Nintendo DS is the latest handhold console from Nintendo, and a new Mario title will be heading to the platform named Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. It’s the sequel to the Gameboy Advance puzzler which saw players trying to rescue the princess who has been taken hostage by Donkey Kong (essentially based on the classic Donkey Kong handheld title of the 80s).
The interesting aspect to this title is the use of the DS’s stylus. Players will use the touch screen to move the ‘mini Marios’ around the map and perform actions. Nintendo really seems to like interaction other than the traditional controls (as we have seen by the wireless sensor controls in their new console Wii) and this will be a rewarding game for fans of the series and Mario games alike.
Expect this title to hit the Nintendo DS by the end of September this year.
