Yahtzee and his Zero Punctuation reviews
January 21st 2008 13:33
One of the best things to come out the gaming industry at the moment is the rueful brilliance of Ben Croshaw aka Yahtzee, a freelance reviewer/game designer who is the head of steam behind the really really popular Zero Punctuation reviews on The Escapist.
Check out his latest, a review of Crysis.
He's endeared himself to 'teh internets' by being brutally honest and uncomprimising - a rarity in these days of gaming websites being bribed to give out 10/10's.
Plus, at the heart of it, he's just damn funny. His rapid speech is accompanied by simple animations which suit the reviews just fine and add a layer of secondary charm.
It's wonderful, wonderful stuff...
