Tomb Raider 1 remake

Funny as it sounds, but game developers really like to remake the old classics which made their franchises big in the past,. New revamped graphics and extra features seem to appeal to new gamers and old fans, and Eidos is in the running to make that happen with the remake of Tomb Raider 1 for the PS2, PC and PSP.
Tomb Raider Anniversary is the title for this game, and returns to the first episode where Lara Croft is in her tight green top and dual pistols, taking on bats, wolfs and jumping from cave to cave in search of artifacts and cogs. Crystal Dynamics is producing this title, which may create a slight change in the typical Tomb Raider style game play which may bore many new-age gamers. I found the first Tomb Raider title to be very painfully pedantic with what you do, including puzzles and retrying after dying at specific areas without being able to save. Lets hope this isn’t the case for this title.
From what I have read, Crystal Dynamics is going to make the storyline much more clear in this title. New cinematic and expanding on the original story will make this game more clear and interactive over the original Playstation 1 title, which will surly make the game more enjoyable. I surely recommend this title, but it is too early to tell. It would have been nicer if it was specially recreated for the new-gen consoles like the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 – with a greater emphasis on graphics and new gameplay in trying to keep Lara Croft on the roll in the new era of gaming. This game will be released mid next year.
