Game On - May 2008

Time Crisis 4

May 9th 2008 23:12
Time Crisis 4 PS3

The release of Time Crisis 4 on the PS3 was completely lost in the hype surrounding the GTA IV release so here's a reminder to check out the latest version of this arcade point-and-shoot classic.

The basic gameplay is the usual point-and-shoot and you will join operatives Giorgio Bruno and Evan Bernard to investigate and prevent a top secret weapon from falling into the hands of international terrorists.

Time Crisis 4 PS3

The highlight of Time Crisis 4 is the full FPS game mode which is exclusive to the console version and allows the gamer to roam freely as a new, console exclusive playable character, and experience FPS style gameplay in 5 new stages.

The stunning HD quality graphics is breathtaking and the design of Guncon has been given a complete overhaul so that it is now the most advanced ever and enhances every aspect of the game.

Gamers will use this new Guncon - which comes in a bundle with the game - to control an assortment of arsenal ranging from the standard handgun/shotgun to grenade launchers and even mounted machine guns!

Time Crisis 4 is out now in a bundle including the Guncon on the Playstation 3 only at $139.95.

I wondered if you've played this yourself?
I was going to pick it up a couple of weeks ago, but opted for Mario Kart on the Wii instead (which I'm loving!).

If you've played it I'd love an honest opinion. I know it's not getting great reviews. Would you say it's worth the money?

And lastly.. damn.. why is the gun bright orange!! lol

Admittedly, I haven't tried this game on the PS3 yet but have, of course, played it at the arcade.

I probably would've picked Mario Kart on the Wii over this as well Not that I'm saying one game is better than the other but just more as a personal preference.

Yes, bright orange is the new black, or so it seems...
