The Warriors makes their way to the PSP

Rockstar, the games company famous for the successful GTA series, released The Warriors on the PS2 and Xbox just over a year ago, and next month are planning to re-release another successful hit: The Warriors. The Warriors was released on the PS2 and Xbox just over a year ago and although violent and filled with highly adult themes, it proved to be an excellent title based on a film.
The Warriors is essentially based on the 70s film which saw one gang (among a larger set of gangs in New York City), framed with the murder of a big time leader. Whilst being framed for murder, the Warriors must face of their enemies and find out the real culprits and clear their name. Savage gang attacks, robberies and muggings all pave the way to ‘victory’ for players as they complete missions which really sets the MA 15 rating (18 years and over in some countries) for this title.
This title doesn’t bring anything new as it is basically a re-release of the original title but in PSP format. Those who missed playing the title initially will have a great chance to play it in handheld format on the PSP. Multiplayer mode is also included, so players can play wirelessly in teams in missions and brawls. So that’s how the game goes, players are confronted with many missions in open maps – of which are quite variant and entertaining. Missions include graffiti over specific walls whilst avoiding being beaten up, hunting down and bashing/mugging a guy or just trying to escape from a mob of hungry enemies. Don’t forget about filthy language, as this title is filled with it. None-the-less, I enjoyed this game when I played it on the Xbox, and if you haven’t tried it out, then I certainly recommend you do (if you are over the correct age
