The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest coming to Australia

Warner Bros. has informed us that The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest will land in Australia in Autumn 2010 for the Wii, DS, PS2 and PSP. The company is touting it as the first videogame offering an authentic The Lord of the Rings gameplay designed for all ages to enjoy – take that EA.
According to the press release you’ll take control of Aragorn and play through some of his greatest quests from the Lord of the Rings trilogy – so it’s kind of like a best of. You’ll have access to a sword, shield, bow and spear and other medieval offerings. Local co-op will also be available with player two taking control of Gandalf – wait, didn’t he die in the first movie?
We probably wouldn’t play this but if you know some kids that dress up like an elf looking for a good time then this could be a good birthday or Christmas present… for next year.
