The Legend of Zelda looks like a Legend of a game!

Worldwide reviewers and critics are ecstatic about Nintendo’s new Zelda title, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess which has hit the Wii as a launch title (and also to be available on the Gamecube…which is in its dying stages so it seems). So does it live up to its expectation and incredibly long wait (since it was originally intended to be released on the GC a very very long time ago)? Well everyone is saying yes and I would probably have to follow suit.
The storyline of this game is stronger than ever, which has Links (the sword slashing star of the game) on his mission to save the Princess Zelda and the world which is going to be destroyed (eventually). Long gameplay, logical puzzles and glorious graphics make this title all the better and continues the Zelda series in the positive gaming direction.
Moreover, the controller (here I go again) is a talking point once again in this title. Players will be able to slash their enemies with Link’s sword doing a waving motion using their controller, and even use the other controller in a blocking motion to use Link’s shield. Nifty controllers and that is just the start. We also have fishing, crossbow firing and whirlwind attacks which utilize the controllers in a variety of fashions.
This is a highly recommended title which returns to the original Zelda format (away from the cel-shaded animation that was The Windwaker on the GC). All gamers who purchase the Wii should also grab this title as this will probably be the best launch (and standing) title on the Wii for a long time.
The official release date for this game is December 7
