Super Smash Bros. returns in Brawl for the Wii

May 13th 2006 04:31

Featuring a large cast of Nintendo’s finest characters, the great Super Smash Bros. beat up em series is back again in a new instalment for Wii. Nintendo’s new console will feature this title exclusively and fans of the series will be in for a treat with the announcement of a new bunch of playable characters, including none other than the great Solid Snake from Konami’s Metal Gear Solid series!
Solid Snake enters the battle!

Upon watching the Official trailer for the game, I was amused to see Snake hiding in his legendary cardboard box as he spied on Mario, Kirby and Links fighting it off in Super Smash Bros. Snake then interrupts the match by lifting off the box and announcing “Its Show time!” stunning both Link and Mario as they stop and stare at him. I loved it, and I can’t wait to see what moves Solid Snake will preform in this title (choke hold perhaps).

All out mayhem

The other new characters that will be joining the line-up among Donkey Kong and Pickachu, is Kirby’s main enemy Meta Knight, Suit Samus from Metroid Prime (without her armour suit) and a character from Kid Icarus, the angelic archer.

Wario, a famous opponent of Mario will also be joining the crew with bizarre moves including an enormous fart! What a delight!

Super Smash Bros. Brawl does not look to disappoint and will continue its success in providing quick action for up to 4 players of all ages including children and adults alike. It will be released in 2007 for Nintendo’s Wii console.

This sounds like a great title for the new Wii and I'm sure there will be many more on the way!
