The long-awaited Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Nintendo Wii is due out in Japan on January 24 and on February 10 in North America.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the third installment in the best-selling Super Smash Bros. series of fighting games which features a roster of Nintendo characters and its second parties. Confirmed for 'Brawl' are 24 characters including Konami's Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series and Mario's long-time rival, Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog set over 20 different stages.
Other notable characters making their first appearance in the Smash Bros. series are Diddy Kong, Ike, Pit (Kid Icarus series) and Wario.
