Soldier of Fortune 3 banned in Australia!

I'm finally back and ready to blog once again!
Anyhow... one title which I played a long long time ago in high school was Soldier of Fortune. This was quite a violent but entertaining first person shooter with loads of blood, gore, and terrorist bashing action. Many years have past since the last SOF hit, and Soldier of Fortune 3: Payback will be released but not on Aussie shores!
Sad isn’t it, but I do not think that will stop pirates and importers from getting their hands on a copy for their console or computer. Australian censors proudly stated that Australia is the "only developed democratic country without a R18 classification for games...” Due to the very graphical images of flying limbs, blood and gruesome deaths is particularly the reason why SOF 3 became banned instantly without being given age classification. It seems the MA15 classification is just not enough!
Again we come to the question, when will the Australian censors bring in the R18 classification for games? Surely adult gamers do not want to resort to illegal activity to get their hands on a copy of this game (or other games for that matter). Sigh...better jump back on Halo 3 then (and isn't that violent too!).
