So Blonde - the adventure game

Even though the adventure game genre has been given a funeral, eulogy and wake, I keep finding great games to post about on this site.
Perhaps that's because I'm a sucker for adventure games, which don't usually requjire any special action skills, or advanced hardware. You can play them for 5-10 minutes or play them for an hour. Then you'll finish and that's it. There's usually no reason to play them again, unless you really want to explore the options.
So Blonde is an independant adventure game from French studio Wizarbox, and people are enthusiastic about it, noting the refreshing similarities to Monkey Island.
Adventure Gamer notes the game has fresh animation and a lively atmosphere.
Metacritic only has a couple of European reviews, and they're favourable.
Is it a game you'd pay money for? I don't know - the main character's accent threatens to irritate me to no end, but I'm glad studios are actually trying to make excellent quality adventure games.
From a Metacritic review:
"A good Lucas Arts adventure game is back. At least it has the similar feel when you play So Blonde – it’s good and bad altogether. “Classic” gameplay is cool but it also means there are no improvements – every element of this game has been seen before in other games. The high pitch voice of the main heroine is nothing but annoying."
