Sins of a Solar Empire Demo released
March 24th 2008 00:23
Sins of a Solar Empire is one of the hottest selling games of 2008... made by those brilliant geniuses that made Galactic Civilizations, I and II, SOASE brings more delicious space explosions to your computer screen.
It's a massive real-time strategy game in space, with three factions, designable ships, huge space armadas and a helluva lotta fun.
I'm down. And because they're such great guys, Stardock made the game playable on older computers, a move that might - might - revolutionize the industry.
One of the reasons that PC Gaming is taking a dive is because consumers are sick of buying a game, upgrading for it, then finding out it still doesn't work, or needs to be patched. Going low on the requirements, but providing solid gameplay, is the way to the hearts of gamers.
If you want to try it out, check out the demo, released this week.
