Rail-gun Resident Evil shooter to hit the Wii

This year another Resident Evil game will land on Nintendo’s Wii, and this one will surely have mixed reactions. Interestingly enough, it will be a point and shoot title using the Wii remote as a rail gun. Some gamers have reacted positively to the fact of seeing more Capcom titles hit the Wii, but others have dwindled on the fact that this might turn out to be a flop.
Resident Evil Survivor was released on the Playstation 1 many years ago and it didn’t fame so well with fans of Resident Evil. I think however this title will not follow the same path as the Wii was primarily designed for gamer interactivity using the point and press concept of the Wii remote which acts on sensors. So my hope is that this game will be quite enjoyable and scary.
The game is said to flow through the Resident Evil 0, 1, 2 and 3 with main characters including Chris Redfield at the moment. Players can cycle through weapons they pick up and shoot loads of zombies by moving the main Wii controller and point shooting (as you would imagine).
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is set to be released only on the Wii at the moment and I doubt it will be a flop. It is not recommended for little children however, as it is violent and full of horror! Good scary fun! Keep your eyes peeled for this one.
