With the awesome Gran Turismo 5 Prologue now out on the PS3, other consoles such as the XBOX 360 are left without a game in the racing genre that would rival GT5.
That is, until Race Driver: GRID, a game that promises to stretch the traditional boundaries of motorsport gaming, is launched on the XBOX 360 (and PS3). The game takes players to beautifully realised and dramatic race locations over three continents to compete in an unprecedented variety of racing events. Packed with the most powerful race cars - new and classic, circuit and drift - players will compete to conquer the most prestigious official race tracks and championships and then go beyond to compete in challenging city-based competitions, through to road events and urban street races.
Featuring prestigious and famous marques from the motoring world including Aston Martin, Koenigsegg and Pagani, gamers will race their vehicles of choice in iconic cities across the U.S. (San Francisco, Washington DC and Detroit) and unique events such as the ever popular drift racing in Japan.
The games boasts a high level of visual detail, physics and even a car damage system that the GT5 sadly lacks.
