Back after 11 years as an exclusive for the Wii

NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams will be an only Wii title when it is released by Sega by the end of this year. In 1996, the Sega Saturn presented the first NiGHTs title which created a large fan base and showed gamers what a real platformer should play like. Players were flying and gliding around maps of dreams and nightmares from stunning green hills and beautiful waterfalls to gloomy and misty mazes.
This year, Wii gamers will be able to experience Sega’s gaming masterpiece (well we hope this one will be like the original) and utilizes the sensory controllers to glide and fly around the maps in NiGHTS. An interesting concept of this game however, is the plotline which will base itself around dreams theory with Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung having an involvement in game.
Being an all exclusive Wii title has diapointed me however as being a new-gen game, this title will surely look visually stunning had it been releasd on the PS3 or Xbox 360! The graphics awed gamers back in 1996 on the Saturn (which may look dismal to today’s standards), but graphics will always have an impact on gameplay. None-the-less, maybe Sega will change their minds and release this title on the other new-gen consoles in the future. This title will surly be a big hit for this gaming year, so keep your eyes peeled for this title!
