Hi, Edward 1 here, I’ll be posting the latest news in the gaming spectrum this past couple of days. It might be considered old news but maybe its new news to you! I’m hoping it’s the latter one.
25th June
Metroid 3 Primed With New Details
A month has passed since the Nintendo Media Summit and American gaming magazine, Play Magazine, has announced new details on Metroid Prime 3: Corruption!
- The first level is set on a spaceship with an encounter with good ol’ Ridley.
- Exploration of an alien civilization has gotten larger (hopefully alive this time around)
- Switching visors requires the ‘minus’ and the flick of the Wiimote
- Beam stacking is back! Believed to be originally from Super Metroid.

Zelda Ready to Brawl!
Step aside Samus, Links main purpose on Hyrule, Zelda, is confirmed to be a playable character in the much anticipated sequel to Super Smash Bros. Melee: Super Smash Bros Brawl for the Wii!

Game Connect Asia Pacific 2007, a place to be for Australian games developers.
Developmag.com has reported a joint-created pairing by the Games Developers’ Association of Australia (Australia’s big CEO committee), and Egames to bring to the Asian-pacific a developer conference that isn’t American.
Australian games publishers, programmers, developers and creative artists will be able to discuss future connections with people in the same industry from the Asia-Pacific region.
This means the Australian games industry is given a chance to show how good their talent is to the world. This could lead to a stronger industry and more games created by Australian’s in the future!
The conference is set to be held on the 15th to 17th of November.
World Calibur IV
Kick ass at your local Galaxy World, kick ass all around the world, Soul Calibur 4 will feature online fighting!
According to Kotaku.com, the director of SC4 has announced online combat as the new option among the modes once the start menu starts up.
“We really couldn't make SC4 without online play.” – Katsutoshi Sasaki

Crysis is set to appear out of the jungle on September 11, according to gamestop.com.
Hyped up by Ripton.com, it appears to have cutting edge graphics with super AI to match, promising to be an awesome FPS shooter.

Quick News (courtersy from gamesindustry.biz and filefront) : SCEE representative, Jonathan Fargher, announces PS3’s will have strong games releases around christmas and warns not to compare the PS3 with the Wii. - PS3 Euro gamers will have to wait till July (?) for their copy of The Darkness, while the 360 version is still planned for June 29th. - In Japan, Nintendo is said to be worth 6.57 trillion yen, selling 17,655,799 DS units and 2,734,994 Wii consoles sinch launch.; up there with Toyota, Canon and Honda.
