New XBLA games!

2K emailed us today announcing two new independent games for Xbox Live Arcade – The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom and Axel and Pixel.
The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom stars, er, P.B who is a time-bending pie thief and is presented like a movie from the silent film era. It sounds like a hoot and we can’t wait to see it when it arrives early next year.
What I’m more excited about is Axel and Pixel, mostly because it’s a point and click game, which stars a painter and his dog who embark on a journey through the mystical Dream World – we don’t think it’s the one on the Gold Coast. Axel and Pixel should arrive later this year.
No prices have been announced but we’re sure it will be cheaper then Mass Effect on the Games on Demand… hopefully.
