Need For Speed Undercover

The next installment in the Need For Speed franchise is due to land in Australia this November for all the major consoles including handheld portables.

Need For Speed Undercover is the twelfth installment of the popular racing video game series developed by Electronic Arts. The storyline of the game is rumoured to involve the player going undercover as a police officer with the only contact to the police department via a Chase Linh, a main character in the game played by actress and model Maggie Q.

In terms of game play, gamers with past experience of the NFS franchise will find that the controls and everything else are a familiar affair. What is different though is the intelligent new artificial intelligence mechanic that delivers a realistic and adrenaline pumping driving experience. Going back to the franchise’s roots, Need for Speed Undercover features more aggressive and intelligent cops whose sole purpose is to take down the player quickly and by any means necessary.

As per the other NFS games, players will be able to customise their rides including the Audi R8, Lexus IS-F, Nissan GT-R and many more to their heart's content. The driving physics are as realistic as ever and will also show real-world damage.

Need For Speed Undercover will hit the stores on November 20, 2008 priced from $49.95 - $99.95.

After a second look, it looks like Pro Street just opened the gates from the track.

Going undercover aye? Could this mean when your caught you don't have to pay for bail?

Personally this looks like Most Wanted gameplay with a high-end slab of Pro Street paint to make it all pretty and thats totally fine with me.
