Microsoft sued over death of disks. – 3 cents
July 18th 2007 11:21
Microsoft has spent 1.05 to 1.15 billion dollars to cover America’s 3 year extended warranty on all 360 consoles, now this is just rubbing salt into the big computer company’s money-circulating wounds.
Other details from this court case includes Microsoft claiming there has not been any significant complaints of such damages.
I can only guess who will win this court case. Where the hell will $5 million be covering? The replacement of two disks by Microsoft would cost US$40. He should be paid $40 for actually going through this over-the-top case, since he would be losing more from hiring lawyers and the use of his time when he can actually work for money.
Even if Microsoft wins, it won’t change the fact that they haven’t made any money from producing so many 360’s but hope to make a profit by 2008. This comes down to a lose-lose situation and is a sad case for video gamers because it sounds more like a joke… But it’s a stone-cold fact.
