Latest's PS3 and 360 news - No PS3 price cuts and Extra 3-60 Warranty

Psxextreme.com reports that rumours of a PS3 price cut has been squashed, as PS3 President, Ryoji Chubachi, has announced there will be no immediate plans for a PS3 price cut.
"We have no immediate plans as of now'', said the Sony President in a report from Bloomberg.
BIG DISSAPPOINTING NEWS for PS3 fans, Beautiful Katamari has been reportedly CANCELLED for the PS3 due to ‘programming issues’. The game is still scheduled for a 360 and Wii release.
In brighter news from Sony, the gaming giant might be launching their own version of the hugely successful ‘Bring It Home’ E3 coverage for PS3 owners.
Gamesindustry.biz reports that Sony might be streaming their E3 content, including demo’s, trailers and coverage of the event, on the Playstation Network.

US news: Microsoft will give 360 owners three years warranty and free fixing of their console if it is plagued with the Red Ring of Death, read's a statement at Xbox.com.
“Microsoft stands behind its products and is taking responsibility to repair or replace any Xbox 360 console that experiences the “three flashing red lights” error message within three years from time of purchase free of charge, including shipping costs.”
The statement also mentions that Microsoft will be spending $1.05 to $1.15 billion on repair costs.
Meanwhile, 11.6 million 360 consoles has already been shipped off to gamers around the orb, however, it is still shy of the promised 12 million by June 30th, 2007.
