Interview with Ben 'Yahtzee' Croshaw on Destructoid
February 14th 2008 08:54
I've posted before on the sheer awesomeness of Zero Punctuation, a weekly video review done by Ben 'Yahtzee' Croshaw, an foul-mouthed Englishman that somehow clawed his way to Australia.
What goes on in the mind of a man like that?
Destructoid managed to score an interview with Yahtzee, and they asked those questions that we've all wanted to ask.
Aside from the side-splitting humour of the Zero Punctuation videos, I'm down with Benza because we share a lot of similar opinions on the gaming industry... I grew up with the market, and I'm in the demographic that has been recently labelled MidCore.
I loved adventure games when I was young, and I wish that studios would take the genre, use the tech to make it even more immersive and give us back our games.
Yahtzee is the same kind of guy, except that he wears a hat, apparently, and has a computer powerful enough to play games like Crysis.
Why aren't games witty? Or designed to let you have fun? Or written well?
Yahtzee finds faults with most games, and then skewers them... when he finds a game that does well, though, he lavishes untold cartons of joy
Enjoy the interview with Mr. Ben Croshaw!
