July 10th 2007 09:26
The day before E3.... with an update on whats been news in this past couple of days!
I had been sick this past few days, so this post is going to be short and sweet, and hopefully keep you informed with what you might not know what's happening in the gaming spectrum.
Sourced from Palgn, developmag, wii-uk, kotv.com and filefront.
ATTENTION ATTENTION!
Status on the PS3 price has been counter-announced AGAIN! This time there WILL be a $100 price cut for the PS3 in America, plus a release of a 80gb PS3.
Read it all at Sony’s American PS3 site here.
Also, more good news to PS3 owners after last posts downer, Sony announced a new movie/entertainment download service at the Playstation store.
In other news headlines:
- According to gamefeed.com, Atari announced Jenga for the Wii and DS – set for a November, American release. Jenga is the stacking game where you have to build a wooden tower that you pull out a piece of the foundation, hoping the whole stack doesn’t fall. Sounds like an interesting and most logical step for the game to appear on the Wii, since the unique controls of the Wii can, practically, pull this off.
- The latest game in the Spyro franchise: The Legend of Spyro: The Internal Night, is set for the PS2, Wii, game boy Advance, DS and mobile phones.
- Sony Europe has announced Bleach: Shattered Blade coming to the Wii and Bleach: The Blade of Faith for the DS.
- Other anime-game news is, Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2, set for a spring release for the Playstation 2.
- Good news for Dungeon Siege fans, Sega has announced the latest game from Gas Powered for the PC: Space Siege! An RPG set in space where you once again play the man responsible for saving the human race.
- Rugby 08 for the PS2 and PC has been announced.
- The director, of the latest Gran Turismo 5 game, has spoken to a US magazine about new details in the game. Details including no car damage this time round, again, and car construction taking developers 180 days to create.
- Spielberg and EA LA teamed up to create a game call Dead Space.
- Remember Wii-ware? The new games download server that will sell games created by indy developers. Well the ‘first’ title has been ‘announced’: Plattchen, known only from a press release as an ‘innovative puzzle shooter’.
