The Gran Turismo 5 Prologue featuring over 60 meticulously detailed cars including Ferrari's and Nissan's all-new GT-R will hit Australia stores on March 27, 2008.
The latest installment of the world's greatest driving simulator is available in stunning 1080p high definition format for unparalleled clarity and realism allowing gamers to experience the true performance and handling of each and every single one of the 60 vehicles featured in the game.
The prologue version, which is essentially a preview of the full version of GT5, also features five highly-detailed and rendered reversible racetracks including Suzuka Circuit, Suzuka Circuit East Course, Fuji Speedway F, Fuji Speedway GT, Super Speedway Daytona, Road Course Daytona, Eiger Nordwand Course, Eiger Nordwand Course (reverse), London City Course, and London City Course (reverse).
Also new is a realistic in-car view feature including functioning speedometers and odometers and the existence of three game modes - arcade (single player with 16 cars), arcade (time trial version), event race (4 categories, 32 events) and dealer race (one make races).
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will feature access to Gran Turismo TV - a dedicated online channel available exclusively from PLAYSTATION Network - that delivers some of the greatest motorsport and manufacturer content that television has to offer.
