Good Old Games coming in September
July 16th 2008 01:21
This good looking site is Good Old Games, a digital distribution service for old-skool games, most notably, Fallout and Fallout 2.
Man, I love those games. Would I pay $5.99 to download them and play them all over again?
You bet your sweet monkey I would.
$5.99? In Sydney, you can only get a fantastic Thai lunch for that much. And they give you that black sticky rice dessert for free. Who doesn't like Thai?
Right, right, the games. Well, the best thing about the service is that it'll be DRM-free, so just install and play, no complicated mechanisms, like online verification or CDs in the drive.
We'll see what kind of catalog they're going to try and have, but it looks like great classic games from a few years back. This'll give me a chance to get back into the game! Ho ho!
For those of you too unfortunate to have never played Fallout or its sequel, my consolations. At least you'll be able to catch up somewhat. Delight yourself with the cherry-topped delights of PC gaming!
