Footage from the new Ghostbusters video game!

Back in 1990, I was delighted, thrilled and excited to play Ghostbusters II, the video game that was loosely connected to the movie of the same name.
Like the movie, the video game was awful.
The second movie was really painful to watch, filled with pink goo and the kind of wretched familiarity that only Hollywood comedy sequels can achieve. Of course, I say that as an adult. As a kid, back when the movie came out, there was only one word: AWESOME!
Likewise for the game: Awesome!
All I cared was that it was connected to the Ghostbusters, which meant proton packs, takin' care of bizness, and that fantastic theme song. I was a fantatic, watching the cartoon on the weekends, making my own proton packs out of household materials, and generally living in a world that accepted that ghosts needed bustin'.
Slashfilm posted the newest trailer from the game, which promises to offer gamers all the environment-destroying, ectoplasm-covering action that you could want. I a'int afraid of no ghost:

While it looks pretty fun, I guess I'm sad that this didn't come out when I was a kid... I would have had a seizure, most likely, then played for days without eating...
