Fighter jet fighting…Over G Fighters

Simulations are and always have been quite popular on the PC and gaming consoles over the past decade. Games developers have taken a hand from real simulation builders for military and government programs and have been producing simulation games for our enjoyment. I particularly love fighter jet and flying simulations and boy have they become so realistic over the years. This is where Taito comes in to the picture with their new Xbox 360 title called Over G fighters.
Over G Fighters is a jet fighter simulation game which pits players in up to 30 jets of different power and flying nature in dog fight, escort and take down missions. Players will essentially become the pilot of an advanced fighter jet and sit in the flying seat, with the ability to adjust a lot of options including sensitivity of controls, vibration effects and the hud environment within the cockpit.
Been there done that before? Yeah there have been plenty of games like this in the past, but this time around the graphics are spectacular. This title is being made for the Xbox 360 and the graphics do not disappoint with mountains ranges and sparkling water (along side the glorious explosions) which really bring a positive and engaging effect to the gameplay.
The variety of fighter jets to use is quite interesting, with special classes for speed, movement, air and land fighting. Some jets even have special abilities including stealth mode which can be turned on and off during missions. The ability for some aircraft to hover and land vertically is also inlcyuded which shows the amount of realism the game developers are trying to implement.
This should be a nice game to get into, and reminds me of those Ace Combat days on the Playstation. If you love flight simulation games, or looking for a nice fighter jet game which you can play online or against your friends (yes dog fights are always cool in the air), then grab this title which should be out by the end of this month.
