CibbuanoFamily Guy games are coming

Yes that’s right, 2K games (Take-Two interactive) will be bringing the hilarious cartoon series onto the gaming screen by the end of this year.
Once it was announced early last year, the game went under wraps with little information of progression in site. However, with the return of a new Family Guy season approaching, the game has resurfaced with more details on what awaits gamers.
The game will run in third person, with players being able to control three main characters Peter, Brian and Stewie in sperate storylines in familiarity to the TV series.
Being the critic I am, I tend to dislike games being ported over from films and TV series. Rarely do we ever see a blockbuster of a game after a port, but merely a profit hungry tactic which grasps as much money from fans of the TV show/film.
However, do get me wrong, there have also been many successful ports. For example, The Simpson’s: Hit and Run and even the Harry Potter games which provide a whole heap of fun for young gamers (and adults alike!).
None-the-less, I hope the upcoming Family Guy game will be filled with side splitting jokes alongside an entertaining storyline and game play.
