Do you miss Diablo? get ready for Silverfall

Many many years ago I played the great game Diablo, created by the giant profit making machine Blizzard. This point and click RPG was addictive, fast paced and became a classic title that most RPG gamers are fond of. Players would be able to loot bodies, collect items such as gold and weapons and fight hordes of creatures from hell until they reach the final epic boss. What made Diablo even more memorable was the multiplayer action which was severely destroyed by hackers (or more exactly – cheaters) who had immense and unstoppable power and looted all weapons that players worked hard for.
Well put aside the negative aspects of Diablo, with Silverfall a game developed by Monte Cristo which is set to be released next month on the PC. This game plays in a very similar fashion to the Diablo point and click RPG style – along with the looting and player experience upgrades. Players can choose from a range of races including trolls, humans, elves and goblins. All these races have their own distinguishing fighting styles which can be categorized as the game progresses.
The game plays in third person perspective with players being able to swing the camera in a 360 motion. There is also a more diverse storyline with little linearity found which is a positive aspect of the title in terms of replay value. Other than the large variety of skill sets such as shooting and fighting, players can also customize their strength, agility and intelligence (to name a few) which should keep this game challenging. This will certainly determine the best when players take their characters into the online world for battle.
A nice game which shouldn’t be given a blind eye. Regardless if you have played Diablo or not, I suggest you give this title a go as it sure looks good before its release date. This has my thumbs (and index finger) up. Click away.
