World's most technically advanced videogame!

explosion

Crysis is set to be released on November 16th and I predict will rival Halo 3 and Bioshock as what could be the game of the year! Nvidia's President has stated that it is the "world's most technically advanced videogame" with non-linear gameplay and a very high level of graphical elements included in the game.

Produced by Crytek and to be released by EA, Crysis is a sci-fi first person shooter that is set in North Korea, with you (part of the US army) trying to infiltrate a base and stopping a terrorist attack. This is where all the conflict happens, and gamers should expect a bit of unusual enemies entering the battles

The big selling point of this game is however the realism aspect and how detailed the graphics are within the game. Think about getting a brand new graphic card if you don't have a high performer already as this is a massive resource hog. Also, don't expect this title to land on the PS3 or Xbox 360 any time soon as there hasn't been a mention of a port.

Damn this game looks fine...look at the pics and see for yourself!

I played the demo and found it kind of really boring. It's either really easy or really hard depending on how you want to play. Gameplay is boring and repetitive for the most part too. I'm kind of interested in the sandbox editor but haven't looked into it. Odds are i won't get the full game, just muck around with the editor in the demo (unless it's too constrained in which case I'll buy the full game for the sake of the editor).

Technically advanced? Not really sure about that one. It looks pretty, no doubts there, but that should never be the key selling factor to any game. I'll try it, my laptop should be able to handle the demo, but looking at the story and design, Bioshock has the edge.
