Create your own CityRail…SimCity style!

Sid Meier’s Railroads is a title which really places itself in competition with the Tycoon series of games where players take a management role in the construction of cities and in this case, railroad networks. This title reminds me heavily of the classic SimCity 2000 title I played when I was young, and it sure follows a similar structure for this day in age in the gaming scene.
Players essentially start off in a certain time in history and begin building train stations and networks for the community and businesses to use (as in real life). Micromanagement including monetary flow and upgrades to trains and railroads occurs progressively in the game as players succeed in satisfying the community’s needs. Furthermore, as time progresses in the game, new trains become available and players must implement them into their network along with track upgrades etc.
I like the principal (even though Sims like this have been done to death), but gamers who wish to play this title without slowdowns and graphics problems should really think about using the latest spec hardware to fully enjoy this title. Another excellent inclusion to this title is the multiplayer modes. Players will be able to complete in the simulation against other players and have bid wars for buildings and trains similar to real life situations which should really make things interesting during play!
If you like strategy and managing networks (pedantic tasks!) then this is the game for you. Just keep in mind the technical requirements to run the game, but the amount of graphical candy you will be treated to is quite rewarding! This title should be out by the end of October on the PC.
