Crazy Taxi returns in Fare Wars
January 15th 2007 13:10
The good ol’ classic Crazy Taxi title which was released by Sega on the Dreamcast oh so long ago is making a come back on the Sony PSP this year! The game is back alive with new cars and characters – with multiplayer options making the game more entertaining when playing with friends.
Crazy Taxi essentially puts the player in an arcade-like car racing game whereby the player must roam around the city picking up fares and dropping them off at their destinations within certain time limits to gain extra cash and extra time to pick up more customers. The crazier you drive and the more risks you take on the road…the higher income you receive and greater score you get. The only downside I think is the mash up of Crazy Taxi 1 and 2 into this portable version with little new map features added. Where is the new title guys?!
Those who missed the previous titles will be able to enjoy this one and play multiplayer mode with only one copy of the game (as opposed to everyone needing a copy). I love Sega and this is a arcade game at heart so don’t expect Gran Turismo racing here whatsoever! Just expect quick speed and time-breaking thrills as you try to get you’re passenger to their destination within the time limit.
