Bash some wild rabbits…Rayman style

Rayman Raving Rabbits is a nice little title for the Nintendo Wii that brings comedy, action and sensor gameplay together in a cute display of animal bashing! That’s simply said but this game is full of over 70 minigames that will keep any gamer – young or old – entertained for hours. More so, bring a group of mates together and this game is surly a blast.
Rayman has been around for quite a long time, especially in the 2D and 3D plat former titles which made him so famous. Funny enough, this title isn’t really a platformer at all, with players using the Wii controller to feed rabbits, beat them on the head and boss them around in-game. These rabbits have just disturbed Rayman’s picnic…and he is out for revenge!
Graphically, the game is a let down though, and this is becoming prevalent in the latest Wii games which show the poor use of the Wii’s graphical hardware. But one begs to ask…does graphics matter as much as gameplay. Why didn’t Nintendo make the Wii a tad more powerful to run higher spec graphics? Confuses me…as I am quite sure many people would have paid those extra dollars for higher performance and glittering graphics.
Multiplayer will be the stand point of this title, as players compete against each other to take control of these cute little rabbits that scream their brains out and make the largest commotion which really makes the game funny. Game should be out now, and is a recommended title for players who don’t want a strenuous game but one filled with many mini games that really show what the Wii’s motion capturing abilities is really about.
