Ace Combat 6 360 Exclusive
July 2nd 2007 10:34
One up to the 360, Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation is now an Xbox exclusive title.
IGN reports from a Namco preview event, that the exclusive deal with Microsoft is due to an expected large reception (and exposure) online on Xbox Live. So far death match, team death match and co-op mode are confirmed.
Developed by Namco-Bandai, who know ‘fast’ with titles such as Ridge Racers 7 and Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, so far there will be 15 licensed aircrafts and Atari will be handling the conversion in Europe.
Set in 2015 with the Anean Continent as its background, the game is reported to have a kick-ass ‘Dynamic Operations System’ where other fights in the air, ground and sea are commencing while your flying around to your main objective. It promises to add hecticness and freedom of choice to help out your fellow country in the battle.
If this new ‘dynamic’ system works as well as it promises, Ace Combat 6 is showcasing a new standard of depth into the flight simulation genre, as the awesome camera and gameplay of Resident Evil 4 or Grand Theft Auto 3's sandbox world did.
