Video Games - October 2007

explosion

Crysis is set to be released on November 16th and I predict will rival Halo 3 and Bioshock as what could be the game of the year! Nvidia's President has stated that it is the "world's most technically advanced videogame" with non-linear gameplay and a very high level of graphical elements included in the game.

Produced by Crytek and to be released by EA, Crysis is a sci-fi first person shooter that is set in North Korea, with you (part of the US army) trying to infiltrate a base and stopping a terrorist attack. This is where all the conflict happens, and gamers should expect a bit of unusual enemies entering the battles

The big selling point of this game is however the realism aspect and how detailed the graphics are within the game. Think about getting a brand new graphic card if you don't have a high performer already as this is a massive resource hog. Also, don't expect this title to land on the PS3 or Xbox 360 any time soon as there hasn't been a mention of a port.

Damn this game looks fine...look at the pics and see for yourself!

Halo 3 or 4 to be on PS3 ??

October 10th 2007 13:31

This is the question on many gamer's minds as Bungie Officially announced its break up with Microsoft! Bungie is now an independent developer although Microsoft is stated to still hold a minority share in the company. This is an interesting newsbreak as Halo 3 has hit $300 million in sales in its first week of release (Gamespot).
