PS3 price drop imminent!

The rumor mill has started up yet again with Megagames stating that mole within Sony has found out that a 40Gb PS3 is set to be released at a much lower price. That price will be US$400. Moreover, the current 80Gb model (overseas) will be reduced to US$499 and the PS2 will drop down to US$99!
To me, this does not come as a surprise since the PS2 still outsells the PS3. So is much happening in the PS3 scene? I think the BIG PS3 technology was way overrated and it has become very apparent now with almost no 'top notch' games on the system at all. Look at the Xbox 360 - Halo 3 is on its way onto the console, and plenty of top titles have been released including Forza 2 and Gears of War. What is Sony doing??
Even the PSP titles look shocking. Nintendo and Microsoft seem to be pushing the gaming industry in the right path..but Sony..?? Aww, I miss the days when the PSX was the grand console and nothing could stand in its way... so many top games, addictive and enjoyable.
Let’s just hope that Sony can lift their socks up and pump out some Tekken 6, MGS 4, GT5 and Final Fantasy quicker (notice they are all sequels and not new titles
Source.
